Thanks to everyone who came along to the BOS Autumn Convention in Milton Keynes last weekend. It was a really enjoyable weekend of origami. Thanks particularly to our 2 special guests – Eric Vigier from France and Paolo Bascetta from Italy – both very different folders but each contributed in their own unique way to the event.
Thanks also to my fellow organisers – Loredana who was chiefly responsible for putting together the programme, Penny in charge of the bookings, Lee organising the exhibition, and Adam running the library display and silent auction, Nick running Colortree supplies, and all the teachers and other helpers throughout the weekend. But… chiefly yourselves for being there and hopefully having a good time folding the designs on offer – including those impromptu and informal sessions.
No doubt there will be reviews and photos in the October issue of British Origami magazine – look out for that! Next one in Hull in April which will be a tribute convention to our dear Iris Walker! See ya there!
